What we consult on

Six pieces of work, in the order they usually matter

They connect, which is why we look at the business as a whole before recommending where to start.

Important. MC Global Consulting Group LLC is a business consulting firm. We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, a financial adviser or a lender, and nothing on this website is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Every business is different, and results depend on decisions and market conditions outside our control, so no specific outcome is guaranteed.
Areas of focus

The things owners bring us most often

None of this is theory. It is the list of what actually comes up when a business is trying to get past its current size.

What a session looks like

A conversation, then a written plan you can act on

No portal, no template and no forty page report you will never open. You talk, we read the business, and you leave with a short list of what to change and in what order.

  • You talk, we listen first. The business, the goal and the deadline. Fifteen minutes of context saves weeks of the wrong work.
  • We read the business honestly. How the work runs, where customers come from, what the numbers say and what depends on you.
  • You get an order of operations. Not a list of everything wrong. A sequence, where each item makes the next one easier.
  • You decide what happens next. Run the plan yourself or hand it to us. Both are fine, and the plan is yours either way.

Some owners keep us alongside them afterwards

A plan is easy to agree and hard to hold on to once the week starts. When a business is changing, the useful thing is somebody who already knows it and can answer in an hour instead of a week.

  • A set rhythm. Monthly or quarterly, we come back to the plan, look at what moved and adjust what did not.
  • Before a big decision. A hire, a location, a new service, a large contract. Talk it through before it becomes a commitment.
  • When something changes. A key person leaves, a large customer doubles, a quarter goes quiet. Each one changes what should happen next.
  • At your pace. By the piece or on a set arrangement. Either way the scope and the fee are agreed in writing first.
Questions

On the consulting itself

Do I have to know which service I need?

No. Most owners arrive with a symptom rather than a diagnosis, and working out which of these actually applies is part of the first conversation. It is free, so there is no cost to finding out that the answer is something other than what you assumed.

What does a consultation cost?

The first conversation is free. If the work goes further than that, the scope and the fee are agreed in writing before anything starts. You will never find a charge you were not told about in advance.

Is this legal, tax or accounting advice?

No. We are business consultants. We work on how the business runs and where it is going. For legal, tax and accounting questions you should use your attorney and your CPA, and we are happy to work alongside them.

Can you work on more than one of these at once?

Yes, and it is common, because they connect. Fixing delivery usually touches pricing, and growth is not much use if the operation cannot carry it. What we avoid is starting six things at the same time.
